Harvey Lake is in the neighborhood of Fancy Pass which is beyond doubt worth going to, and if you come at the right time of year, Eagle River offers some splendid whitewater. Harvey Lake gets very little rain; July is when you get the most rain here; the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Hyatt Mountain Lodge is a great choice; skiing at Vail is one of those things you just       have to do. The warmest time of the year at Harvey Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Harvey Lake. Yep, outdoors entertaining things to do are really bountiful here at Harvey Lake.
