Harvey Brothers Reservoir is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous site close to Harvey Brothers Reservoir is Arkansas River Canyon; glorious hiking is available along the Stultz Trail. During the summertime at Harvey Brothers Reservoir highs are commonly in the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 40's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's;

| | all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Harvey Brothers Reservoir temperatures dip to the-10's. Around Harvey Brothers Reservoir you don’t get a lot of rain; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and January is when it's the driest.

Jellystone Camp is a good local campground. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the vicinity of Harvey Brothers Reservoir. Harvey Brothers Reservoir is a splendid place to visit for more than one day, Buffalo Bill's
Royal Gorge Campground is a splendid place to camp nearby; a splendid location for whitewater paddling is Arkansas River.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Front Range. Harvey Brothers Dam has good water scenery and it's
close to Harvey Brothers Reservoir; after a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Canon City is a perfect location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Harvey Brothers Reservoir without first going for a hike
along the Tanner Trail, and do check out Cottonwood Creek if you're here at Harvey Brothers Reservoir. There's pleasant hiking along the Highline Trail, and while you're here, you could also check out scenic Little Johnny Reservoir.
Do pop by Harvey-Murry Reservoir next to Harvey Brothers Reservoir, it's a beautiful lake; Comfort Inn Canon City is a perfect spot to get some rest. The panorama of scenic Cactus Mountain near Harvey Brothers Reservoir is perfect,
and a fine location like Twelvemile Park here at Harvey Brothers Reservoir is too tremendous to miss. What a site this is for outdoors people.

These are large well spaced sites with lots of room., RV:We have 26 electric sites and 6 full hook up sites., PETS:Yes pets are allowed, but cannot be left alone., FIRES:Every site has a fire pit, and picnic table. We can have camp fires as long as there isn't a fire ban on., STORE:We have a small store with the office., GROCERY:There are several stores in Cripple Creek which is four miles away....We have 50 tent sites, 27 electric sites, 6 full hookup sites, and several different types of lodging, hidden among the pines on 31 acres, in a secluded valley. There is a small stream running through the valley giving you the opportunity to pan for gold. There are several hiking trails starting in the campground, and lots of open space for a leisurely stroll or games. There are ATV trails and fishing about 20 minutes away.
For your convenience our restrooms, heated showers, and dump station are centrally located by the office, along with the ice machine, and fire wood. We have supplies, and food available in the office/store.
Your pets are welcome to camp with you at no extra cost, but must never be left alone at your campsite. It is your responsibility to pick up after your pets no matter where you walk them.
