You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors amusing things the Sawatch Range has to offer. Near Harvard Lakes you discover the Wapaca Trail which is a nice hiking trail, and why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Collegiate Peaks Golf Course. The Harvard Trail is a glorious hiking trail in the neighborhood of Harvard Lakes, and do stop at Silver Creek while you're here at Harvard Lakes. Not much       rainfall falls here at Harvard Lakes; during the month of August you get the most rain around here, and October is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the South Pine Creek Trail is always a perfect adventure. Lakes are pleasant; 3 Elk Reservoir is a lake that's right next door to Harvard Lakes. And if that's not sufficient, there's plenty more to do next to Harvard Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. Get drenched paddling on Arkansas River. This lake is located in the wonderful Sawatch Range. After a long day outdoors Best Western Vista Inn is a good place to spend a night or two, and Harvard Lakes is a brilliant place to camp, Arkansas River Rim Campground is a brilliant place. At Harvard Lakes during the summer months highs are in the 70's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Harvard Lakes are in the-10's. Having a wonderful time in the Sawatch Range is easy.
