Harry White Number 2 Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and Harry White Reservoirs is not far at all from Montrose. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can stop by Twin Lakes Dam, and Cottonwood Basin is a great spot to stretch your legs a bit. This       lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Harry White Reservoirs, you could also take a look at scenic Hawkins Reservoir Number 2, and do take a hike on the Monitor Mesa Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Smokehouse Campground is always a delightful experience. For the period of the summertime, highs frequently are in the 90's at Harry White Reservoirs, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. Through the wintertime the highs are regularly in the                  40's with temperatures at Harry White Reservoirs dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. Be careful coming to the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains, you might not ever want to return home again.
