There is a great hiking trail close to Harris Lake called the V Rock Trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Harris Lake has to offer, you can camp at Blanco River Campground. San Juan River - East Fork is so much fun, and dry warm beds await you at Oak Ridge Lodge. All year is a wonderful time in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains if you like the outdoors. Navajo River has a nice whitewater paddling
spot close by; going for a hike on the Blanco River Trail is always a great adventure. This lake is located in the wonderful San Juan and Jemez Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Buckles Lake is near Harris
Lake. There's so much to do here at Harris Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Acres Green RV Park is a fine location for that. So many fun things to do here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, too nice to be true.
A cool spot to visit next to Harris Lake is V Rock; at Harris Lake you can distinguish V Mountain. All through the months of summer, highs frequently are in the 80's at Harris Lake, and all through the night it cools down to the 40's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Harris Lake are in the 0's.

San Juan River - East Fork
 | 12 miles away I am a very close relative of the land owners for a significant portion of the East Fork. There is a couple of miles of river that is private land. Using the river or the land without authorization is tresspassing and is illegal. I am by no means giving you permission to use it. I am simply stating the facts.
