The High Trail is a tremendous hiking trail near Harper Reservoir; if you need a site to stay Oak Tree Inn Yampa is a wonderful choice. Around Harper Reservoir you don’t get       a lot of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is frequently March, that's the one that snows the most; June is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. An attention-grabbing thing to visit in the vicinity of Harper Reservoir is Harper and Sons Dam, and Wood Lake is a nice lake close by. Holiday Inn Express Eagle, Co is a delightful location to get some rest. Just can't get enough of Harper Reservoir. If the weather is glorious here at Harper                  Reservoir, you can go for a hike along the South Derby Trail; if you came to camp Stagecoach is a wonderful location to do that. In case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Colorado River; going for a hike along the Ute Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood.
