If you are traveling by, why not stop by Harper Pond. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Riverside RV Park is a nice location to camp, and great hiking is available along the Pine-Piedra Stock Driveway. Crowbar Creek is a tremendous local stream; get covered with water paddling on Piedra River. If you go for the outdoors, you'll fancy Harper Pond. Dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn & Suites.

Camping is available at Riverside Campground; there's brilliant hiking along the Devil Mountain Trail. If you're visiting Harper Pond from Durango, you won't be the only one; Armstrong Canyon is also a pleasant spot to look at.
