    If you like lakes and you're in this part of Colorado you can check out Hardin Reservoir. These mountains rock, just look at all the entertaining things to do in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. Antone Spring Campground is a fine campground nearby, and get yourself into a kayak and hit San Miguel River. If you're here at Hardin Reservoir, checking out Craig Point is a must, and if you came for an overnight stay Iron Spring Campground is a tremendous place  
   to camp. If you want a tremendous time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. The Dry Creek Trail is a great hiking trail right next door to Hardin Reservoir; if you need a location to stay Mountain Lodge At Telluride is a nice choice.
At Hardin Reservoir through the months of summer highs are in the 80's while nighttime lows are typically in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's while Hardin Reservoir overnight
 
               low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's. This place, Hardin Reservoir, it clearly has so much outdoors exciting stuff. Dollan Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Paradox Road.
This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Hardin Reservoir, you could also pop by wonderful Upper Craig Draw Reservoir, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Horsefly Trail. This lake is so wonderful. It's always great to explore Dollarhide Spring, and there are plenty of folks from Montrose here. There are some nice whitewater spots on San Miguel River, and let's not forget South Fork Clay Creek which is a stream that you may bump into while you're here.
It is very dry here at Hardin Reservoir frequently; the month with most of the rain is July, and the driest month of the year is February. Hardin Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains.
