It is very arid here at Hankison Reservoir frequently; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Caribou Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Silvercreek Lodging. The skiing at SolVista is good, and whitewater paddling is pleasant on Fraser River. Why not stop at Kamloop       Cove also while you're here; if you're interested in hydro structures, you can check out Hankison Dam. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Berthoud Pass, and a round of golf at nearby SolVista Golf Club is a tremendous way to kill some time. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Hankison Reservoir; Columbine Creek Trail is a brilliant local trail, and Doe Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth taking a look at. The warmest time of the year                  at Hankison Reservoir arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Hankison Reservoir. Yep, outdoors exciting things to do are truly bountiful here at Hankison Reservoir.
