Taking a little visit to nearby Kamloop Cove is a glorious idea, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Doe Creek. Beaches are pleasant; and Surprise Beach in close proximity to Hankison Reservoir is no exception, and dry warm beds await you at Kicking Horse Condo. Not much precipitation falls here at Hankison Reservoir; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. The Strawberry Trail

Get your heart beating on the good whitewater of Fraser River; going for a hike on the Columbine Creek Trail is always a great adventure. | |

After a long day outdoors Base Camp One by Alpine Resort Properties is a fine site to spend a night or two, and you can run the rapids of Willow Creek. This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes
of nearby SolVista, and a pretty lake like Lake Granby is a magnificent site to stop by. Yep, outdoors amusing stuff to do are beyond doubt plentiful here at Hankison Reservoir. Hankison Reservoir is delightful enough to spend more
than a day at, Grand Bay Campground is a delightful local campground; why not head up to Berthoud Pass and strap some skis to your feet. Summertime highs at Hankison Reservoir commonly tend to be in the 70's. When the night sets
in temperatures plunge down into the 40's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's; night lows in the 0's for Hankison Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Roaring Fork Campground is always a wonderful experience, and do stop by Hankison Dam since you're here.
