Hanging Lake is pretty arid commonly; most of the rain falls all through September, and February meanwhile is the driest month. So much exciting stuff in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, just tremendous. Getting to Fox Creek from Hanging Lake is trouble-free, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Deer Creek Trail. Lake Campground is a good location for that; going for a hike along the Lou Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. Hanging Lake is located in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. If you're interested
in hydro structures, you can visit Silver Jack Dam, and if you came to camp Big Cimarron Campground is a brilliant spot to do that. If the weather is good here at Hanging Lake, you can go for a hike along the Courthouse Trail; whitewater
paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Cimarron River. Hit the slopes at Silverton in the neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. Cabbage Patch is right here at Hanging Lake, and if you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Ouray is a nice choice.
