After a long day outdoors Hotel Colorado is a delightful place to spend a night or two, and why not camp at Glenwood Canyon Resort while you're here at Hanging Lake. Summertime at Hanging Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight       here at Hanging Lake. Good hiking is available along the Blue Creek Trail; a good place to camp here at Hanging Lake is Coffee Pot Spring Campground. It's a glorious idea to check out Cinnamon Creek, it's near Hanging Lake, and there's wonderful hiking along the High Trail. You truly must adore Hanging Lake. Devils Hole Canyon is a fine location to spend some time at; paddling on Grizzly Creek is so much fun. Hanging Lake is pretty dry usually; of all the                  months in a year October is the one with the most rain; the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. Really nice skiing awaits you at Sunlight Mountain, and you don’t have to go far from Hanging Lake to catch a sight of the water at Shoshone Dam.
