Hanging Lake gets very little rain; October is when you get the most rain here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. At Hanging Lake all through the days of summer highs are in the 80's; the overnight is quite colder of course, typically in the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Hanging Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you need       a place to stay The Hotel Denver is a great choice, and Hanging Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Coffee Pot Spring Campground is a splendid local campground. A tremendous nearby hotel is Hotel Colorado, and there is a wonderful hiking trail close by called the Blue Creek Trail. Having a good time at Hanging Lake is uncomplicated. Camping at Rock Gardens Mobile Home Park is always a perfect experience; get your pulse rate up on the perfect                  whitewater of Grizzly Creek. Devils Hole Canyon is a pleasant place to visit nearby, and a good location for whitewater paddling is Roaring Fork. This lake is so wonderful. The snow is great at Sunlight Mountain, and close by you find the High Trail which is a great hiking trail.
