Throughout the summer months here at Hang Lake, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 70's with overnight lows in the 30's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Hang Lake temperatures drop to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. A fine spot to camp here at Hang Lake is Skyline Campground;       whitewater paddling is great on Joe Wright Creek. Man, is there a load of cool stuff to do in the Medicine Bow Mountains. Camping is available at Tunnel Campground, and don't leave Hang Lake without first going for a hike along the West Branch Trail. So many amusing things to do here in the Medicine Bow Mountains, too brilliant to be true. You could also take a look at Blue Lake while you're here at Hang Lake; it's close by. Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff                  in one place! Hang Lake is excellent! Paddling on Cache La Poudre River is so much fun, and if you've had enough of Hang Lake, Timber Lake is close by. If you need a site to stay Americas Best Value Inn Bighorn Lodge is a fine choice, and there are delightful sites to look at along the Blue Lake Trail. Cameron Peak is striking and can be distinguished from Hang Lake; there's perfect hiking along the North Fork Trail.
