The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Hang Lake. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 30's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Hang Lake. This place, the Medicine Bow Mountains, has so much outdoors amusing stuff. A lake close by is Blue Lake. You believe that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Paddling       on Joe Wright Creek is so much fun; Gateway Inn Restaurant Cnf Ctr is a great place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Get covered with water paddling on Cache La Poudre River, and nearby you find the North Fork Trail which is a perfect hiking trail. If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the Medicine Bow Mountains. You could also go to Timber Lake while you're here at Hang Lake; it's close by, and the West Branch Trail is a perfect hiking                  trail close by. It is very waterless here at Hang Lake frequently; through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is January. This lake is located in the wonderful Medicine Bow Mountains. If you came for an overnight stay Tunnel Campground is a great place to camp, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Blue Lake Trail.
