Budget Host Inn Fort Collins is a great place to get some rest, and the Greyrock Trail offers hiking at its best. Halligan Reservoir is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Ansel Watrous Campground is a brilliant local campground, and brilliant hiking is available along the Overland Trail. High temperatures at Halligan Reservoir during the warm days of summer are in the 80's, and the nighttime is a bit       cooler of course, frequently in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Halligan Reservoir are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. A delightful spot to camp here at Halligan Reservoir is Stove Prairie Landing Campground; swing by Meadow Creek it's a pleasant spot to pop by. Now, you may believe that's loads but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Halligan Reservoir. You can run the rapids of Cache                  La Poudre River - North Fork close to Halligan Reservoir, and Halligan Dam is an attention-grabbing thing to check out. At Halligan Reservoir you don’t see much precipitation; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is January.
