     Hallenbeck Reservoir Number 1 is always a pleasure to visit. This lake is so wonderful. There is a fine hiking trail close to Hallenbeck Reservoir Number 1 called the Whitewater Basin Trail; Best Western Clifton Inn is a wonderful site to get some rest. All through the warmest time of the year at Hallenbeck Reservoir Number 1 temperatures are regularly in the 90's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 30's;  
   throughout the dark hours in the winter at Hallenbeck Reservoir Number 1 temperatures sink to the 10's. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Hallenbeck Reservoir Number 1 has to offer, you can camp at Rv Ranch Grand Junction.
The scenery at Juniata Dam right next door to Hallenbeck Reservoir Number 1 is pretty; nearby you stumble on the Spring Camp Trail which is a great hiking trail. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this spot. Hallenbeck Reservoir
 
               Number 1 is a good spot to visit for more than one day, Grand Junction/Clifton Campground is a good spot to camp nearby, and you can run the rapids of Kannah Creek. Not far from Hallenbeck Reservoir Number 1, you'll discover Juniata Reservoir which is a scenic lake, and some nearby water includes Juniata Ditch.
The skiing at Powderhorn is splendid, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore nearby Hallenbeck Reservoir. Get your heart pumping on the wonderful whitewater of Kannah Creek, and there are plenty of folks from Grand Junction here at Hallenbeck Reservoir Number 1. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful nearby hotel is Wine Country Inn, and going for a hike on the Indian Point Trail is always a fine adventure.
Hallenbeck Reservoir Number 1 is a location that is pretty dried out usually; of all the months in a year October is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is January.
