that. There are tremendous sites to discover along the Last Chance Trail, and Halfmoon Lake is a location with many visitors from Edwards. Be careful coming to Halfmoon Lake, you might not ever wanna go home again. Go for a hike on
the Ironedge Trail; you can hit the slopes at Beaver Creek in the vicinity. Halfmoon Lake is ordinarily a quite dehydrated site; the month with most of the rain is July, and the driest month is February. Halfmoon Lake is located in the Sawatch Range.

 | 13 miles away Beautiful drive up to Lede Reservoir. We started in Eagle and took Sylvan Lake road all the way past the lake and then took a right at the first intersection. After climbing up and around the peak in front of us we were upon some huge rolling meadows that were among the forrests. A slight drop down into the valley on the west side of the mountains and a left turn lead us to the reservoir. It is a great spot with some fishing paths around the water and a number of campsites as well. We continued west to Gypsum Creek Road and a short drive back to the town of Gypsum.... |
