During the warmest time of the year at Haley Reservoir highs are regularly in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are usually in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Haley Reservoir temperatures fall to the 0's. Dunckley Pass is in close       proximity to Haley Reservoir and is undeniably a great site to go to, and Himes Peak Campground is a tremendous campground nearby. Haley Reservoir is a location that is rather waterless usually; December is the month that gets the most snow while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If you need a place to stay Oak Tree Inn Yampa is a great choice, and you can go for a hike on the South Derby Trail. Bunker Lake Reservoir is a pleasant                  lake in the vicinity of Haley Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Bunker Basin is a good place, and if you came for an overnight stay Baughn Lake Campground is a great place to camp. Yeah, come here to Haley Reservoir for a tremendous time.
