If you are traveling by, why not stop by Hahns Peak Lake. This lake is so wonderful. The Oliver Creek Trail is a fine hiking trail in the vicinity of Hahns Peak Lake; if you're interested in hydro structures, you can visit Hahns Peak Dam. This lake is so wonderful. Hahns Peak Lake is pretty arid frequently; throughout December this area sees the most snow, and the driest month is February.
Through the months of summer at Hahns Peak Lake highs are mostly in

| | the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 40's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Hahns Peak Lake temperatures fall to the 0's. Camping at Dutch Hill Campground is always a nice experience; on a good day you can take a hike along the Burton Creek Trail. place to get some rest; here at Hahns Peak Lake you can make out Cap Smith Hill.
And if that's not enough there's heaps more entertaining stuff to do in the Park Range. If you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always
go whitewater paddling on Elk River, and after a long day outdoors Sheraton Steamboat Springs Resort And Conference Center is a great place to spend a night or two. This lake is one of the great places here in the Park Range. Elk
River has a perfect whitewater paddling spot close by, and Trilby Flats is a great location to check out.
This is no location for people who don’t like to have a good time. A wonderful site to camp here at Hahns Peak Lake is Sunrise Vista Campground; if the weather is magnificent, you can go for a hike along the Nipple Peak Trail.
