The Park Range scenery is always beautiful. Hahns Peak Lake is a location that is quite arid mostly; through December this area sees the most snow, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Everybody loves Trilby Flats. Lakes? Sure, Steamboat Lake is nearby. High temperatures at Hahns Peak Lake during the warmest time of the year are in the 80's. Once the       sun is down it descends down to the 40's. During the wintertime highs are usually in the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for Hahns Peak Lake. Just can't get enough of the Park Range. There is a fine hiking trail in close proximity to Hahns Peak Lake called the Oliver Creek Trail, and at Hahns Peak Dam close to Hahns Peak Lake there are some out of the ordinary things to see. And if that's not sufficient there's loads more amusing things to do in the Park                  Range. CrossTimbers at Steamboat is a delightful place to get some rest; since you're here you can take a hike along the Nipple Peak Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Nordic Lodge of Steamboat, and you get a wonderful vista of Cap Smith Hill from here. Yeah, come here to Hahns Peak Lake for a brilliant time. Camping at Dutch Hill Campground is always a good experience, and you can run the rapids of Elk River. Camping is available at Sunrise Vista Campground; get your heart pumping on the brilliant whitewater of Elk River. This lake is so wonderful.
