If you are in this part of Colorado make sure to pay a visit to Hagerman Lake. Just can't get enough of the Sawatch Range. A delightful close by hotel is Super 8 Motel - Leadville, and there are other places here than Hagerman Lake, for example Notch Lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Sawatch Range.
This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Main Range Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. There's so much to

| | do here at Hagerman Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Mary Queen Campground is a glorious site for that. That right there is heaps already, but it continues; Hagerman Lake has it all. Ski Cooper is a glorious local ski area; Hagerman Pass is a good spot to spend some time. Take a hike on the Highline Trail, and get your heart pumping on the brilliant whitewater of Lake Creek.

lot of folks from Edwards here. It is very dried up here at Hagerman Lake frequently; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain; February on the other hand is the driest. And that's not all there is to do here in the
Sawatch Range. Hagerman Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Elbert Creek Campground is a glorious local campground, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Mount Massive Trail.
This lake is so wonderful.
If you need a place to stay The Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch is a delightful choice, and a fine place for whitewater paddling is Fryingpan River. Summertime at Hagerman Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. For the period
of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 40's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's with temperatures at Hagerman Lake dipping down into the 0's through winter nights.
