Have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Ute Trail, and you can run the rapids of Grizzly Creek. After a long day outdoors Hotel Colorado is a splendid place to spend a night or two. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Hack Lake has to offer, you can camp at Coffee Pot Spring Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the High Trail; unsurprisingly       Cease Creek flows through this vicinity. At Hack Lake you don’t see much rain; March is the wettest month with most snow; June meanwhile is the driest month. What a place this is for outdoors folks. Take a hike on the South Derby Trail, and there's whitewater on Sweetwater Creek for all you adrenaline junkies. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Hack Lake. Summer night lows fall down to the 40's. Highs all through the winter are regularly                  in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Hack Lake are in the 0's.
