This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such serene sites, why not explore Twin Lakes in close proximity to Gwendolen Lake; get yourself into a kayak and hit White River - North Fork. At Gwendolen Lake you don’t see much rainfall; throughout October this area sees the most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful.       On a beautiful day you acquire a sight of Little Marvine Peaks from Gwendolen Lake, and hiking along the Oyster Lake Trail is delightful fun. Rodeway Inn Glenwood Springs is a nice location to get some rest; a short journey to Bessies Falls is always worthwhile. And if that's not enough, there's heaps more to do near Gwendolen Lake.
