If only every site had this much outdoors enjoyable stuff, what a great globe it would be. There is a fine hiking trail near Guthrie Lake called       the Fayville Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay East Marvine Campground is a glorious place to camp. Throughout the summertime here at Guthrie Lake, high temperatures commonly reach the 80's while overnight lows are usually in the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's, and night lows all through the winter for Guthrie Lake tend to be in the 0's. On a brilliant day at Guthrie Lake you can take a hike along the Oyster Lake Trail. Whitewater                  paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend White River - South Fork; a trip to Wild Cow Park revives the spirit. If you need a site to stay Red Mountain Inn is a great choice, and if you come at the right time of year, White River - North Fork offers some good whitewater. This lake is so wonderful.
