Spruce Draw is a nice spot to discover, and on a glorious day you can take a hike along the Sunset Trail. Gunnison Lake is mostly a relatively dried up place; the month with most of the rain is October, and June meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Gunnison       Lake, you'll find Beaver Reservoir which is a beautiful lake, and if you need a place to stay Elk Mountain Lodge is a tremendous choice. During the warm months, highs frequently are in the 80's at Gunnison Lake, and the night is quite chillier of course, ordinarily in the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Gunnison Lake. Camping at Smith Fork Campground is always a pleasant                  experience, and close by you locate the Hammond Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail. If you come at the right time of year, Gunnison River - North Fork offers some tremendous whitewater, and there is a perfect hiking trail nearby called the Minnesota Pass Trail. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things at Gunnison Lake. If you came to camp Camp Id-Ra-Ha-Je West is a great place to do that; there are other locations here than Gunnison Lake, for example Paonia Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful.
