Colorado has many beautiful lakes and Guild Reservoir is one of them. The cheerful people of Grand Junction like to hang out close by, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Guild Reservoir; Indian Point Trail is a tremendous local trail. Best Western Clifton Inn is a nice spot to get some rest; sites like Halls Basin are wonderful to stop by. Guild Reservoir is a location that is pretty waterless typically; most of the rain falls through October; February

Kannah Creek has a perfect whitewater paddling spot nearby, and if you came for an overnight stay Grand Junction/Clifton KOA is a splendid spot to camp. This lake is so wonderful. A great place to pop by close to Guild Reservoir is Lockhart Draw, and Big J RV Park is a tremendous campground here. Basin Trail.
Now, you may think that's a load but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Guild Reservoir. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Powderhorn, and there's delightful hiking along the Spring Camp
Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Residence Inn by Marriott Grand Junction. For the period of the days of summer highs here at Guild Reservoir reach the 90's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Guild Reservoir are in the 10's.
