Grouse Lake is a lake worth visiting. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Grouse Lake. If you need a spot to stay Centennial Condominiums is a great choice, and camping at Homestake Campground is always a wonderful experience. This lake is so wonderful. Hit the slopes at Vail around here, and the friendly people of Edwards like to hang out nearby.

| | always a fine adventure, and a lake nearby is Olsen Lake. Grouse Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Half Moon Campground is a great local campground, and nearby you stumble on the Fall Creek Trail which is a delightful hiking trail. The Half Moon Trail is a good hiking trail next to Grouse Lake; Beaver Creek has nice slopes and a friendly staff.

Not much rain falls here at Grouse Lake; the month with most of the rain is July while February is frequently the driest month. Summertime
highs at Grouse Lake generally tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's. All through the wintertime highs are typically in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Grouse Lake descend into the 0's.
