If you are in Eagle county it's always a good idea to stop by Grouse Lake. Be careful coming to the Sawatch Range, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Beaver Creek, and almost certainly you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Buffalo Lake is just a very short distance away. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Centennial Condominiums is a pleasant location to spend a night or two, and perfect hiking is available

| | along the Nottingham Ridge Trail. Around Grouse Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is usually July, that's the one that rains the most, and February is when it's the driest. Go for a hike on the Half Moon Trail, and Grouse Lake is a place with many visitors from Edwards. This lake is so wonderful. Gotta ski! Lake, you might not ever want to go home again. You could also check out Waterdog Lake since you're here at Grouse Lake; it's nearby, and a pleasant place for whitewater paddling is Eagle River. Grouse Lake is located in the Sawatch
Range. If you came for an overnight stay Homestake Campground is a tremendous site to camp, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Beaver Creek Golf Course is close at hand. Summer at Grouse Lake comes with
high temperatures in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Grouse Lake temperatures fall to the 0's. Yeah, come up here to the Sawatch
Range for a brilliant time. Don't leave Grouse Lake without first going for a hike along the Fall Creek Trail, and camping is available at Half Moon Campground.
