A visit to Gross Reservoir is always a good idea. Summertime at Gross Reservoir arrives with high temperatures in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's with temperatures at Gross Reservoir dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. But wait, there's more to do right next door to Gross Reservoir. No need to travel far to have a look at out of the ordinary stuff like Castle Rock, and Gross Reservoir is splendid

| | enough to spend more than a day at, Rimrock Campground is a splendid local campground. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors amusing things the Front Range has to offer. Camping at Reverends Ridge Campground is always a great experience, and Boulder Creek - South has a good whitewater paddling spot close by.
This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Green Mountain Trail, and a visit to Dugan Park revitalizes the spirit. Gross Reservoir | |

is located in the Front Range. While you're here at Gross Reservoir, you could also take a look at stunning Kossler Lake, and an interesting thing to take a look at near Gross Reservoir is Gross Dam.
You'll meet a lot of folks
from Boulder here, and if you have time, Rocky Mountain National Park is a national park worth stopping at. Go for a hike on the Bear Peak Trail, and after a long day outdoors Alps Boulder Canyon Inn is a magnificent location to spend
a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. There's great hiking along the Saddle Rock Trail; if you need a place to stay St Julien Boulder*s Hotel and Spa is a great choice.
Having a splendid time in the Front Range is painless.
The vista of Langridge Dyke from Gross Reservoir is charming, and since you're here, you might as well have a look at Advent Gulch. Just can't get enough of Gross Reservoir. Gross Reservoir gets very little rainfall; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and January is when it's the driest.
