Grizzly Lake is a nice lake to visit. Not much rainfall falls here at Grizzly Lake; August is when you get the most rain here; the driest month of the year is February. At Grizzly Lake all through the months of summer highs are in the 70's. All through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 40's. During the winter highs are generally in the 30's with temperatures at Grizzly Lake dipping down into the 0's during winter nights.

| | in luck; Aspen Mountain is right next door to Grizzly Lake. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Grizzly Lake has to offer, you can camp at Lost Man Campground. Good hiking is available along the Star Trail; on a gorgeous day you get a brilliant view of Garfield Peak from Grizzly Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Grizzly Lake without first going for a hike along the Timberline Trail; dry warm beds await you at VillaHotel Bears Creek.

But wait, there's more enjoyable things to do in the Sawatch Range. A scenic lake like Henschel Lake next to Grizzly Lake is a tremendous site to stop by, and the snow is tremendous at Aspen Highlands. Having a great time in the Sawatch
Range is uncomplicated. Get dripping wet paddling on Roaring Fork, and Grizzly Lake is a splendid spot to camp, Portal Campground is a splendid spot. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors The Alpenblick By Aspen Lodging
Company is a good site to spend a night or two, and getting to Galena Creek from Grizzly Lake is easy.
This lake is located in the wonderful Sawatch Range. So much entertaining stuff to do here at Grizzly Lake, too brilliant to be true. Paddling on Lake Creek is so much fun, and there's good hiking along the Matchless Trail.
