Hit the slopes at Steamboat close at hand, and there are nice spots to explore along the Newcomb Creek Trail. Now, you may believe that's lots but there's even more amusing things to do here in the Park Range. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Grizzly Lake has to offer, you can camp at Granite Campground; nearby you discover the Percy Lake Trail which       is a great hiking trail. Nearby lakes? Sure, Round Lake is right next door to Grizzly Lake, and going for a hike on the Divide Trail is always a fine adventure. So many cool things to do here at Grizzly Lake, too fine to be true. There's so much to do here at Grizzly Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Summit Lake Campground is a great place for that; after a long day outdoors Scandinavian Lodge and Condominiums is a perfect site to spend a night                  or two. Summertime at Grizzly Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's; the overnight is quite chillier of course, ordinarily in the 40's. During the winter highs are typically in the 20's; after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Grizzly Lake dip into the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Elk River is a splendid whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Grizzly Lake, and if you've had enough of Grizzly Lake, Lake Percy is close by. Grizzly Lake is a beautiful lake in the Park Range. And if that's not enough there's heaps more entertaining stuff to do in the Park Range. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Howelsen Hill, and if you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Elk River. Butcherknife Creek is a wonderful stream that is worth taking a look at, and Winterwood Townhomes is a good place to get some rest.
