A great close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites SILT-RIFLE. There's so much to do here at Gregor Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Clark Cabin Campground is a great location for that. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Bailey Lake Trail, and Rodeway Inn is a great site to get some rest. If you don't mind       getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on White River - North Fork, and some nearby water includes Middle Fork North Elk Creek. There's perfect hiking along the Fayville Trail; needless to say, this is a magnificent vicinity for folks who like lakes, Gilley Lake is a lake nearby. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. A visit to Smizer Gulch is always fun, and Gregor Reservoir is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Hill Creek                  Campground and Trailhead is a glorious local campground. This lake is so wonderful. A great location for whitewater paddling close to Gregor Reservoir is White River - South Fork. Lakes are brilliant; Stump Lake is a lake that's in close proximity to Gregor Reservoir. Gregor Reservoir gets very little precipitation; the month of October is the wettest with most of the rain while January is typically the driest month. Throughout the summertime at Gregor Reservoir highs are frequently in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
