Man, is there a heap of exciting things to do near Greenlee Reservoir. If you came for an overnight stay West Dolores Campground is a wonderful spot to camp; if the weather is perfect, you can go for a hike along the Eagle Peak Trail. Mavreeso Campground is a nice campground here, and close by you discover the Spring Creek Trail which is a great hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. It's always good       to pop by Blue Spring, and after a long day outdoors Dunton Hot Springs is a magnificent site to spend a night or two. You can run the rapids of Dolores River in the neighborhood of Greenlee Reservoir, and the Stoner Mesa Trail is a great hiking trail close by. Around Greenlee Reservoir you don’t get a lot of rain; the month of March is the wettest with most of the snow, and June meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Since you're here                  at Greenlee Reservoir why not stop at Cabin Draw, and Greenlee Reservoir is not the only place close by, Bauer Reservoir is a close by lake. High temperatures at Greenlee Reservoir during the summertime are in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 30's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are regularly in the 30's; during the dark hours in the winter at Greenlee Reservoir temperatures fall to the 0's.
