Man, is there a heap of amusing things to do in the Front Range. A great spot to pop by close to Green Reservoir is Buchanan Pass, and not far from Green Reservoir you'll stumble on Pear Reservoir which is a beautiful lake. Hiking along the Coney Creek Trail is tremendous fun, and a delightful place to camp here at Green Reservoir is Mitchell Creek Campground. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. Take       a hike on the Red Deer Cut-Off Trail; if you haven’t been to Rocky Mountain National Park, you ought to schedule some time for it since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Boulder Creek offers some fine whitewater, and camping at Pawnee Lake Campground is always a delightful experience. Green Reservoir is pretty dried out frequently; August is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month is February. Man, is                  there lots of exciting things to do close to Green Reservoir. Winter Park has good slopes and a friendly staff. Summer at Green Reservoir arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Green Reservoir sink into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Saint Vrain Creek - North, and there's some exciting stuff to distinguish at Green Lake Dam near Green Reservoir. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Red Deer Lake, and pleasant skiing awaits you at Berthoud Pass. This lake is located in the wonderful Front Range. Going for a hike along the Saint Vrain Glacier Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and if you need a location to stay Stone Mountain Lodge And Cabins is a magnificent choice. You absolutely have to fancy the Front Range.
