Many people like to go to Green Lake. At Green Lake during the days of summer highs are in the 70's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 40's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 30's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Green Lake temperatures sink to the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. A good place to camp here at Green Lake is Lost Lake Campground; Irwin Lodge is a great local ski area. But wait, there's more to

| | do next to Green Lake. Lakes? Sure, Blue Lake is in close proximity; dry warm beds await you at The Elevation Hotel.
Camping is available at Avery Peak Campground, and if you come at the right time of year, Daisy Creek offers some nice whitewater. If you need a site to stay Crested Butte Intl. Lodge & Hostel is a brilliant choice; Afley Peak is a peak you can spot from Green Lake.

recommend Anthracite Creek - Ruby Fork, and nearby you discover the Munsey Ruby Stock Driveway which is a magnificent hiking trail. Going for a hike on the Lowline Trail is always a delightful adventure, also Meridian Lake Dam is
worth visiting if you're here. This lake is so wonderful. There are pleasant sites to discover along the Trail Riders Trail; Buck Basin is a delightful site here at Green Lake.
Green Lake is pretty waterless usually; throughout the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February is when it's the driest.
