You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area near Green Lake has to offer. At Green Lake you can catch a glimpse of Alpine Peak, and Snowdrift Gulch is also a good place to look at. This lake is so wonderful. Cherokee Creek flows through this vicinity, and skiing at Winter Park is one of those things you just should do. Clear Lake is a delightful lake near Green       Lake, and West Chicago Creek Campground is a nice campground nearby. Green Lake Dam has great water scenery and it's near Green Lake; Pavillion Point is an interesting thing to see while you're here. During the summer months highs here at Green Lake get into the 60's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 30's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Green Lake. While you're here at Green Lake you                  can take a hike along the Chicago Lakes Trail, and after a long day outdoors Georgetown Mountain Inn is a pleasant site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Have a great hiking adventure along the Silver Dollar Lake Trail, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Arapahoe Basin while you're here. Green Lake beyond doubt is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. Clear Creek is a glorious whitewater spot near Green Lake, and Clear Lake Campground is a perfect local campground. In case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Clear Creek - West Fork. Lakes? Sure, Green Lake is nearby.
