A visit to Great Western Reservoir is always a good idea. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Boulder Creek - South, and Oakwood at Stonegate is a brilliant spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Prospect RV Park is a delightful campground nearby, and there is a delightful hiking trail nearby called the Saddle Rock Trail. Yep, outdoors enjoyable stuff to do are in fact plentiful here at Great Western Reservoir.
