Graphite Lake is right by the Pitkin Stock Driveway, and paddling on Clear Creek is so much fun. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. Lakes are delightful; Maid Lake is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Graphite Lake; hiking along the Coyote Park Trail is brilliant fun. So many entertaining things in the Sawatch Range, just mind-boggling. Head       up to Monarch and strap some skis to your feet, and you can see Fitzpatrick Peak from Graphite Lake. High temperatures at Graphite Lake during the warmest time of the year are in the 70's while nighttime lows are frequently in the 30's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 20's; throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Graphite Lake temperatures dip to the-20's. Take a hike on the Gold Creek Union Park Trail; while you're here,                  you could have a look at Graphite Creek. Not much precipitation falls here at Graphite Lake; throughout August this area sees the most rain, and June is the month with the least moisture. This lake is one of the great places here in the Sawatch Range. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Middle Quartz Campground, and do pay a visit to Black Canyon Of The Gunnison National Park if you're here at Graphite Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Vista Inn. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Sawatch Range. If you came for an overnight stay Mirror Lake Campground is a good place to camp, and of course, this is a magnificent vicinity for folks who like lakes, Tunnel Lake is a lake in the neighborhood.
