The beauty of Grant A Lake is reason enough to stop by. For the duration of the summer months at Grant A Lake highs are mostly in the 80's; the nighttime is fairly cooler of course, generally in the 50's. During the winter the highs are regularly in the 40's; nighttime lows at Grant A Lake during the winter usually sink into the 10's. Whitewater paddling is great on South Platte River; Henry Lake Dam is lovely. Not much precipitation falls here at Grant A Lake;

Hampton Inn is a pleasant place to get some rest, and a round of golf at nearby Raccoon Creek Golf Course is a nice way to kill some time. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Grant A Lake has to offer, you can camp at Chatfield; hiking is a popular thing to do around Grant A Lake; Beaver Brook Trail is a magnificent local trail. | |

This lake is so wonderful. Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument is one of the destinations close to Grant A Lake that are brilliant to go to.
Just can't get enough of Grant A Lake. Lakes are such calm sites, why not have a
look at Beers Sisters Lake Reservoir in the vicinity of Grant A Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Hampton Inn Denver-Southwest/Lakewood. Get covered with water paddling on Bear Creek, and folks from Denver-Aurora love to come here.
There's so much to do here at Grant A Lake that you need to camp here for a while, South Park Mobile Home Park is a nice site for that, and Weaver Gulch is another great location to stop at close by.
