     Get drenched paddling on Fryingpan River; camping at Lost Man Campground is always a brilliant experience. All the outdoors amusing stuff in the Sawatch Range will keep you coming back persistently. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Granite Lakes; Highline Trail is a glorious local trail, and if you're stopping by from Edwards, you won't be the only one. Through the warm days of summer here at Granite Lakes, high temperatures commonly get into the 80's.  
   For the duration of the moonlight hours it's typically in the 40's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Granite Lakes sink into the 0's.
Just can't get enough of Granite Lakes. If you came to camp Elk Wallow Campground is a magnificent site to do that, and Ski Cooper has wonderful slopes and a friendly staff. Drift down the rapids of Lake Creek in a kayak, and tremendous hiking is available
 
               along the Sawyer Lake Trail. Not much rainfall falls here at Granite Lakes; the wettest month of the year is regularly July, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is February.
This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Granite Lakes without first going for a hike along the Chapman Trail; Aspen Highlands is a very popular ski area in the vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors The Alpenblick By Aspen Lodging Company is a pleasant site to spend a night or two; hey, Granite Creek is a great local stream. Granite Lakes is not the only spot close by, Lily Pad Lake is a close by lake.
Granite Lakes is a beautiful lake in the Sawatch Range. Yeah, come up here to the Sawatch Range for a wonderful time. The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch is a glorious spot to get some rest; if you get bored of Granite Lakes you could also stop by nearby Deadman Lake.
