Do stop by Granite Lake while you're in this part of Colorado. Granite Lake is located in the San Juan Mountains. So much fun stuff in the San Juan Mountains, just mind-boggling. Since you're here at Granite Lake why not take a look at Dog Rincon; there's whitewater on Rio Grande for all you adrenaline people. And that's not all the things to do here in the San Juan Mountains. Lakes are great; Divide Lakes is a lake that's near Granite Lake.

Why not take a refreshing hike along the Devil Mountain Trail; get your heart pumping on the pleasant whitewater of Vallecito Creek. This lake is so wonderful. A great place to camp here at Granite Lake is Lost Trail Campground, and what would winter be without some skiing at Silverton.

wintertime comes with highs in the 30's; nighttime lows in the-10's for Granite Lake. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a pleasant time here at Granite Lake. Granite Lake is right by the Middle Mountain Trail, and Granite Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Thirtymile Campground is a fine local campground.
