For the period of the long summer days highs here at Grand Mesa Reservoir Number 1 reach the 90's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's with temperatures at Grand Mesa Reservoir Number 1 dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights. Jumbo Reservoir Campground is a great campground here, and get       wet paddling on Kannah Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Grand Mesa Reservoir Number 1 without first going for a hike along the West Bench Trail; if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Reservoir Creek. If you need a place to stay Wagon Wheel Motel is a tremendous choice, and you're most likely addicted to lakes, Anderson Reservoir Number 1 is one of those nearby. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Dry warm                  beds await you at Goldenwoods Condo Assn., and the skiing at Powderhorn is brilliant. At Grand Mesa Reservoir Number 1 you don’t see much rain; the month of October is the wettest with most of the rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Go for a hike on the Carson Lake Trail; if you came for an overnight stay Glacier Spring Campground is a splendid place to camp. This lake is so wonderful.
