Why not stop by Grand Lake if you're passing through these parts. High temperatures at Grand Lake throughout the warm months are in the 70's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Grand Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Grand Bay Campground is a great campground nearby, and Summerland Park is a great place. This lake is so wonderful.

| | Take a hike on the Columbine Creek Trail, and a day at Surprise Beach is time well spent.
What would winter be without some skiing at Berthoud Pass, and if you came for an overnight stay Elk Creek Campground and RV Park is a splendid spot to camp. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Outlet Trail; unsurprisingly Echo Creek is a lovely stream that is worth taking a look at. The Shadow Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best, and a trip to Grand Lake wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Adams Falls. Just can't get enough of Grand Lake. There's whitewater
on Willow Creek for all you adrenaline people. But wait, there's more to do in the neighborhood of Grand Lake. There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Fraser River; in close proximity to Grand Lake you stumble on a golf course
called Grand Lake Golf Course.
A good close by hotel is Gateway Inn Restaurant Cnf Ctr, and the slopes of SolVista are so inviting nobody can resist. It is very waterless here at Grand Lake generally; through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
