Many people like to go to Grand Lake. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Inn At Grand Lake, The is a glorious spot to spend a night or two; there are some brilliant whitewater spots on Fraser River. Don't leave Grand Lake without first paying a visit to Adams Falls, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by SolVista. So much enjoyable stuff to do at Grand Lake, so little time. | | trail right next door to Grand Lake, unsurprisingly you could also go to Shadow Mountain Lake if you're here; it's not far at all.
If you're looking for a beach near Grand Lake, we recommend Surprise Beach; there's whitewater on Willow Creek for all you thrill seekers. Grand Bay Campground is a great campground nearby; on a tremendous day you can take a hike along the Outlet Trail. While you're here at Grand Lake
you can take a hike along the Shadow Mountain Trail. Berthoud Pass has great slopes and a friendly staff, and a round of golf at nearby Grand Lake Golf Course is a fine way to kill some time.
Around Grand Lake you don’t get a
lot of precipitation; August is the wettest month with most rain while February is usually the driest month. All through the months of summer, highs regularly are in the 70's at Grand Lake with nighttime lows in the 40's. Through
the wintertime highs are typically in the 20's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Grand Lake drop into the 0's. Just can't get enough of Grand Lake. Echo Creek is a great local stream, and the vista of picturesque Mount Bryant is great.
