A great nearby hotel is Howard Johnson Express - Cedaredge, and Big Battlement Dam is not far at all from Granby Reservoir Number 7. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Delta is a great site to spend a night or two, and Granby Reservoir Number 6 is a great lake close by. There's so much to do here at Granby Reservoir Number 7 that you need to camp here for a while, Island Lake Campground is a nice site for that, and there's splendid hiking along the Carson

Granby Reservoir Number 7 is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Spruce Grove Campground is a fine local campground; great hiking is available along the Blue Grouse Trail. A beautiful lake like Granby Reservoir Number 12 in close proximity to Granby Reservoir Number 7 is a good place to stop at, and the snow is nice at Powderhorn. the 90's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's, and night lows through the winter for Granby Reservoir Number 7 tend to be in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.
This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Bull and Brown Trail; Kannah Creek has a glorious whitewater paddling spot close by. It is very waterless here at Granby Reservoir Number 7 regularly; October is the month that gets the most rain while January is frequently the driest month.
