Not far from Granby Reservoir Number 3 you obtain some wonderful water scenery at January Dam, and a good close by hotel is Howard Johnson Express - Cedaredge. Granby Reservoir Number 3 is a location that is pretty dry generally; the month of October is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month is January. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Kannah Creek for all you thrill seekers; great hiking is available along the Bull and Brown Trail.
