You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the area right next door to Granby Reservoir Number 11 has to offer. Whitewater paddling is perfect on Kannah Creek; Little Bear Campground is a wonderful campground here. Howard Johnson Express - Cedaredge is a pleasant place to get some rest, unsurprisingly you could also stop by Basin Number 1 Reservoir if you're here; it's not       far at all. Good hiking is available along the High Trail, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Powderhorn. Go for a hike on the Blue Grouse Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Island Lake Campground is a perfect place to camp. Through the summer highs here at Granby Reservoir Number 11 get into the 90's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's while                  the cold winter nights at Granby Reservoir Number 11 are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Granby Reservoir Number 11 without first going for a hike along the Bull and Brown Trail, and at Big Battlement Dam next to Granby Reservoir Number 11 there are some interesting things to see.
