This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Island Lake Campground while you're here at Granby Reservoir Number 1; there's great hiking along the Cottonwood Lakes Foot Trail. This lake is so wonderful. January Dam is worth a visit if you're here, and Comfort Inn Delta is a great location       to get some rest. It is very dried out here at Granby Reservoir Number 1 regularly; the wettest month of the year is generally October, that's the one that rains the most; January is the month with the least moisture. If you came for an overnight stay Little Bear Campground is a wonderful site to camp; unsurprisingly, this is a wonderful neighborhood for folks who like lakes, Granby Reservoir Number 2 is a lake close at hand. Whohoo, so many amusing things                  in one place! Granby Reservoir Number 1 is great! Gotta ski! Powderhorn is a tremendous spot to do that; good hiking is available along the High Trail. At Granby Reservoir Number 1 through the summer highs are in the 90's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Granby Reservoir Number 1.
