If you need a spot to stay Howard Johnson Express - Cedaredge is a good choice, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby Scotland Park Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Island Lake Campground while you're here at Granby Reservoir Number 1; there's great hiking along the Cottonwood Lakes Foot Trail. This lake is so wonderful. January Dam is worth a visit if you're here, and Comfort Inn Delta is a great location

It is very dried out here at Granby Reservoir Number 1 regularly; the wettest month of the year is generally October, that's the one that rains the most; January is the month with the least moisture. If you came for an overnight stay Little Bear Campground is a wonderful site to camp; unsurprisingly, this is a wonderful neighborhood for folks who like lakes, Granby Reservoir Number 2 is a lake close at hand. in one place! Granby Reservoir Number 1 is great! Gotta ski! Powderhorn is a tremendous spot to do that; good hiking is available along the High Trail. At Granby Reservoir Number 1 through the summer highs are in the 90's. For
the period of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Granby Reservoir Number 1. Drift down the rapids of Kannah Creek in a kayak, and don't leave Granby Reservoir Number 1 without first going for a hike along the Blue Grouse Trail.
