Gourd Lake is a nice lake to visit. This lake is located in the wonderful Front Range. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Bighorn Lodge is a great choice; magnificent hiking is available along the Gourd Lake Trail. Stay the night at Crater Lake Campground, and dry warm beds await you at Inn At Grand Lake, The. Around Gourd Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is the month

| | with the least moisture. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. A journey to Rocky Mountain National Park is worthwhile. You truly have to love Gourd Lake. Gourd Lake is a glorious location to camp, Shelter Rock Campground is a glorious location, and if you're into cool geologic marks try Saint Vrain Glaciers. skiing awaits you at Berthoud Pass. The Cascade Trail offers hiking at its best; there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Winter Park. Don't forget to take a glorious little trip to Thunderbolt Creek, and lakes are such
peaceful sites, why not have a look at Lake Gibraltar. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Fraser River offers some fine whitewater, and the sight of Cooper Peak is charming. Throughout the long summer
days, highs mostly are in the 70's at Gourd Lake. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Gourd Lake. So much exciting stuff
to do here in the Front Range, too glorious to be true. Drift down the rapids of Boulder Creek in a kayak; there's good hiking along the Buchanan Pass Trail.
