On a nice day at Gould Reservoir you can take a hike along the Lost Canyon Stock Driveway, and do pay a visit to Mesa Verde National Park while you're here at Gould Reservoir. It is very arid here at Gould Reservoir ordinarily; most of the rain falls during March, and June meanwhile is the driest month. High temperatures at Gould Reservoir throughout the months       of summer are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. Camping at Mavreeso Campground is always a brilliant experience, and in the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Dolores River. This lake is so wonderful.
