The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Gould Reservoir. Through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. Gould Reservoir is a brilliant spot to visit for more than one day, Mavreeso Campground is a brilliant spot to camp nearby; Dunton Hot Springs is a magnificent spot to get some rest. Stay the night at West Dolores Campground; not far from Gould Reservoir you'll discover Morgan Reservoir which is a pretty lake. This lake is so wonderful. Head up to Hesperus Ski Center and strap some skis to your feet; whitewater paddling is not for everyone                  but if it's for you then, we recommend Dolores River. This lake is so wonderful. Have a nice hiking adventure along the Eagle Peak Trail, and if you need a site to stay Echo Basin Dude And Guest Ranch, LLC is a delightful choice. Garrison Canyon is a tremendous site to visit in close proximity to Gould Reservoir. Lakes? Sure, Bauer Reservoir is in the vicinity. While you're here at Gould Reservoir you can take a hike along the Morrison Trail, and some of the water nearby flows, like Taylor Creek.
