Do stop by Gore Lake while you're in this part of Colorado. Throughout the days of summer at Gore Lake highs are generally in the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 40's. Highs through the wintertime are typically in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Gore Lake. Don't leave Gore Lake without first going for a hike along the Slate Creek Trail, and almost certainly you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Deluge

| | Lake is just a very short distance away. And if that's not enough, there's plenty more to do near Gore Lake. Silverthorne Days Inn is a magnificent place to get some rest, and you're almost certainly addicted to lakes, Willow Lakes is one of those nearby.
You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Park Range. At Gore Lake you always meet someone from Silverthorne; you can go for a hike on the Wheeler Dillion Trail. | |

Gore Lake is pretty arid typically; July is the month that gets the most rain, and February is when it's the driest.
This lake is so wonderful. Hit the slopes at Vail close by, and going for a hike on the Deluge Lake Trail is
always a good adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Get wet paddling on Blue River, and camping is available at Black Lakes Campground. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Park Range. A great close by hotel is Vail
Racquet Club Condominiums; a good place to camp here at Gore Lake is Gore Creek Campground.
Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Arkansas River; there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Copper Mountain. The Park Range scenery is always beautiful.
