This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is great on Arkansas River, and Silverthorne Days Inn is a nice location to get some rest. Paddling on Blue River is so much fun, needless to say you could also pop by Deluge Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. So many cool things to do in the Park Range, not enough time. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Deluge Lake Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Black Lakes       Campground is a pleasant place to camp. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Park Range. Have a delightful hiking adventure along the Slate Creek Trail, and Gore Lake is not the only place nearby, Snow Lake is a nearby lake. Summertime highs at Gore Lake regularly tend to be in the 70's while overnight lows are frequently in the 40's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Gore Lake                  temperatures plunge to the 0's. This lake is one of the great places here in the Park Range. And if you're still looking for more outdoors exciting stuff just keep reading. Take a hike on the Wheeler Dillion Trail; Gore Lake is a spot with many visitors from Silverthorne. Why not camp at Gore Creek Campground since you're here at Gore Lake, and a perfect close by hotel is Vail Racquet Club Condominiums. Gore Lake is pretty dried up ordinarily; through July this area sees the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful.
