In Colorado there are many beautiful lakes, Goose Reservoir is one of them. The San Juan and Jemez Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Summer at Goose Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 30's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's while Goose Reservoir overnight low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the-10's. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy

On a pleasant day at Goose Reservoir you can take a hike along the Turkey Lake Trail; you can run the rapids of San Juan River - East Fork. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Goose Reservoir, you'll find Little Goose Lake which is a lovely lake, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Middle Creek Stock Driveway. is a pleasant choice. Goose Lake Dam has splendid water scenery and it's near Goose Reservoir, and you can have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Rainbow Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Lakes are tremendous;
Goose Lake is a lake that's right next door to Goose Reservoir; get your heart beating on the good whitewater of Wolf Creek. If you came for an overnight stay Ivy Creek Campground and Trailhead is a fine place to camp; dry warm beds
await you at Holiday Inn Express Pagosa Springs, Co. Around Goose Reservoir you don’t get a lot of rainfall; most of the rain falls during July; the driest of the months is June.

Using the river or the land without authorization is tresspassing and is illegal. I am by no means giving you permission to use it. I am simply stating the facts.
