Why not stop by Goose Lake if you're passing through these parts. It is very dried out here at Goose Lake frequently; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and June is when it's the driest. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff in the San Juan Mountains. Goose Lake is right by the Turkey Lake Trail; at Goose Lake you can observe South River Peak. | | are in the 70's at Goose Lake. During the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 30's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Goose Lake.

and San Juan River - East Fork is a great whitewater spot nearby. That right there is loads of entertaining stuff already but it goes on, the San Juan Mountains has it all. Camping at Goose Lake is tremendous fun, Broken Arrow Ranch
is a tremendous local campground, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Goose Lake; Rainbow Trail is a great local trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Now, you may assume that's loads but there's even more enjoyable stuff to
do here at Goose Lake. The scenery at Goose Lake Dam next to Goose Lake is pretty, and if you need a spot to stay Holiday Inn Express Pagosa Springs, Co is a brilliant choice. After a long day outdoors Best Value High Country Lodge
is a good site to spend a night or two, and a great spot for whitewater paddling is Wolf Creek.
This lake is located in the wonderful San Juan Mountains.
