Goodwin Lakes gets very little rainfall; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is January. Going for a hike along the Loop Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood; Venable Lakes is a great lake close by. There's just no way someone can get bored here at       Goodwin Lakes. If the weather is perfect here at Goodwin Lakes, you can go for a hike along the Rito Alto Trail; since you're here at Goodwin Lakes, checking out Phantom Terrace is a must. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Venable-Comanche Trail is brilliant fun. Goodwin Lakes is located in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains.
