A visit to Glen Reservoir is always a good idea. The Front Range scenery is always beautiful. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Front Range. Skiing at Winter Park is one of those things you just must do, and if you get bored of Glen Reservoir you could also stop by close by Los Lagos Lakes. | | get enough of the tremendous skiing at Berthoud Pass; camping at Reverends Ridge Campground is always a wonderful experience. At Glen Reservoir you don’t see much rainfall; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. certainly worth visiting; if you need a place to stay Best Western Lodge At Nederland is a glorious choice. Park Hill is simple to spot from Glen Reservoir; a splendid place to check out is Gamble Gulch. But wait, there's more
entertaining stuff to do in the Front Range. Boulder Creek - South has a splendid whitewater paddling spot close by; if the weather is perfect, you can go for a hike along the Kings Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. North Beaver
Creek is close to Glen Reservoir and is always a joy to take a look at; you can have a fine hiking adventure along the Switzerland Trail. Through the long summer days highs here at Glen Reservoir get into the 70's. Through the
moonlight hours it's regularly in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's with temperatures at Glen Reservoir dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. A good nearby hotel is Alps Boulder Canyon Inn, and if you're
here you can take a hike along the Rainbow Lakes Trail. Paddling on Boulder Creek is so much fun; a tremendous place to camp here at Glen Reservoir is Central City Blackhawk Campground.
