Glen Reservoir gets very little precipitation; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while February is ordinarily the driest month. This place, the Front Range, has so much outdoors fun stuff. Stay the night at Central City Blackhawk Campground, and Berthoud Pass has perfect slopes and a friendly staff. Get your pulse rate up on the magnificent whitewater of Boulder Creek - South; going for       a hike on the Switzerland Trail is always a magnificent adventure. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Front Range. Now, you may believe that's a heap but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Glen Reservoir. A trip to Gamble Gulch is always fun; the peak of Park Hill can be spotted from Glen Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. There are perfect sites to discover along the Rainbow Lakes Trail, and Los Lagos Lakes Dam is a striking                  place, unquestionably worth a visit. At Glen Reservoir through the warm months highs are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Glen Reservoir are in the 0's. Really fine skiing awaits you at Winter Park, and North Beaver Creek is near Glen Reservoir and is always a joy to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Boulder Creek in the neighborhood of Glen Reservoir; Rocky Mountain National Park is one of the destinations that are tremendous to stop at nearby. So much enjoyable stuff to do in the Front Range, not enough time. Best Western Lodge At Nederland is a glorious place to get some rest, obviously you could also take a look at Los Lagos Lakes if you're here; it's not far at all. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. Reverends Ridge Campground is a brilliant campground nearby, and a lake nearby is Beaver Lake.
